Mizzou Music: Athletic Band Director Erin Cooper

MU School of Music

When she goes to work at Faurot Field, Erin Cooper coaxes the biggest possible sound out of her Marching Mizzou student-musicians. Cooper was a guest on this week's Mizzou Music in advance of her conducting the MU Symphonic Band in a performance of dance music.

Also, on the program this week: New music never rests and Stefan Freund represents a large part of the force behind the compositional culture happening at MU.
