Peter Miyamoto has released several CDs featuring works from Mozart, Schubert and Chopin. The piano faculty member at the MU School of Music has a recital this weekend. Miyamoto visited the Classical 90.5  studios to discuss how he keeps his repertoire sounding fresh and preview the Friday recital.

Richard Dowling

Scott Joplin left a major mark on the musical history of the Show-Me State during his 13 years in Sedalia. Next weekend, Richard Dowling comes to Columbia for a pair of recitals in which he will perform Joplin's entire piano output. Classical 90.5's Trevor Harris interviewed Dowling for a recent episode of Mizzou Music.
